Faruki Ireland Cox Sponsors Dodgeball Tournament to Raise Funding for Underserved Youth

CINCINNATI— Faruki Ireland & Cox P.L.L. (www.ficlaw.com) is proud to announce their sponsorship for the 2015 PLN Dodgeball Challenge (http://www.plncincy.com/#dodgeball), hosted by the Professional Leadership Network ("PLN").

The tournament, being held in Washington Park on June 6^th, is an annual event that raises money to help hundreds of underserved youth in the Cincinnati area. Funding for the event helps send kids to Challenge Camp, which is a free weeklong camp hosted by the Dan Beard Council, Boy Scouts of America, that teaches values that will help build the future of these youth while engaging in fun activities.

Faruki Ireland & Cox has sponsored the event every year since the inception of the PLN Dodgeball Challenge five years ago.  Steve Weigand, an associate attorney with Faruki Ireland & Cox, is Co-Chair of the 90-member Professional Leadership Network, and previously chaired the Dodgeball Challenge for three years. To date, the event has raised more than $220,000, and has gathered support from a number of different companies and law firms in the Cincinnati area. Last year, 70 teams participated in the tournament, with over 60 different companies sponsoring the event.  Faruki Ireland & Cox is proud of its ongoing support of the PLN Dodgeball Challenge and its involvement in the Cincinnati community.
