NEW PIG HONORED WITH PLATINUM SUPPLIER AWARD

New Pig was recently honored by Caterpillar with their highest award for best suppliers. At New Pig’s March meeting the Caterpillar Supplier Team presented the Platinum Level Plaque for Supplier Quality Excellence Process to Ben Stapelfeld, New Pig Chairman of the Board.

Caterpillar has more than 10,000 suppliers and fewer than 800 received SQEP certification for 2015. Only 92 achieved Platinum Level while the others were recognized with bronze, silver and gold levels.

“Caterpillar has extremely high standards, so it takes hard work and top performance to achieve recognition,” said Stapelfeld. “This award is a source of great pride for our company and demonstrates our commitment to our suppliers and every single customer we serve.”  

Prior to the 2015 Platinum award New Pig had received consecutive bronze awards in 2011-12 and gold awards in 2013-14.
