Introducing a new generation of trending neutrals and expanded design options in transitional doors

Coaticook, Québec, Canada: (May 21, 2015) Over the past 28 years, Cabico Custom Cabinetry has earned a reputation as a leading manufacturer of high-end cabinetry by marrying unparalleled craftsmanship with freedom of design. This week, Cabico added a fresh new twist and countless possibilities to the relationship by launching a selection called Every Day Made Fresh which features six new colors and six new door profiles. The color options include plays on gray and white tones, fulfilling demand for today’s most popular neutrals. The door profiles are all transitional in their styling.

“Cabico’s new color collection offers some unique choices for the design community and the consumer,” explains Marie-Élaine Dion, Marketing Manager for Cabico. “Our Blue Fir tone is a dark teal, yet fits beautifully into this fresh neutral palette. It can take its position as a foundational color, or as an accent color for popular two-tone cabinetry designs. And, our Streaked Limestone, with visible brush strokes provides another choice for enhanced styling. The brushed finish is all applied by hand by Cabico’s craftspeople.”

“Gray has become a dominant neutral in design over the past few years,” Dion adds. “However, it’s not a trend that will come and go. It’s a true neutral; a timeless classic that provides an excellent foundation for designs of any style. The gray and off-white options in this palette can work with so many other colors. They provide a rich canvass for accenting other features of the room.”

In addition to Blue Fir and Streaked Limestone, the Every Day Made Fresh color offering includes:

  • White Crane (grayish white with cold tones)
  • Hollow White (grayish white with warm tones)
  • Nantucket Gray (light gray)
  • Summer Storm (mid-tone gray)

“The other side of this collection is six new door styles in that important category of transitional design that can transcend an array of design tastes. Consumers drawn to transitional want a contemporary twist but not necessarily a high-gloss, slab look,” says Dion. “Clean lines and timeless styling ensure the new doors and drawer fronts are worthy investment pieces for any design project.”

The Every Day Made Fresh selection includes five wood options and one MDF model:

  • Door 9090 – one-piece MDF with colored lacquer
  • Door 997 – solid wood door with reversed raised panel
  • Door 947 – solid wood door with ¼” veneered center panel
  • Door 715 – solid wood door with reversed raised panel
  • Door 625 – solid wood door with reversed raised panel
  • Door 325 – solid wood door with ¼” veneered center panel
