Kanyile Ka-Ngwenya, Author of the new book, Imagine Living The African Dream! is keen on dismantling the mislabeling of #Africa as a ‘dark-continent’ by answering the ultimate African question, what is the African dream?
The book follows with who is an African? And, how do we connect the diaspora to the Continent? He offers his thoughts on African solutions to the many African issues.
To further change the image of Africa, Kanyile has committed to launching a global grand celebration of Africa through sports, arts and culture when Imagine Living The African Dream! sells more than 100,000 copies.
In addition, 20% of the 2016 profits from Imagine Living The African Dream! are being donated to charity organizations that build nursing schools across Africa.
To get as many copies of Imagine Living The African Dream! in as many hands as possible, a crowd-funding campaign has been launched to fund a 10-city book tour.
In an effort to jumpstart the movement on these commitments, please join the author and special guest speaker Mr. Joe Beasley at The Initiators Shop (Cumberland Mall - Atlanta, GA) on February 27, 2016 from 2PM to 4PM for a special Imagine Living The African Dream! book-signing event.
“Imagine Living The African Dream! cuts straight to the chase on what Africa needs to do to make the most of the natural and human resources at its disposal.” Felicia Mabuza-Suttle - International award-winning entrepreneur, inspirational speaker, author, and philanthropist.
Kanyile became fascinated by the African state of affairs when he moved from Southern Africa to live in Atlanta, Georgia. The adage ‘its hard to see the picture when you are in the frame’ rang true. The astounding lack of knowledge about the Motherland and the Africa which was portrayed in the U.S. was not a depiction that pleased his eye nor his soul. Consequently, this resulted in his book Imagine Living The African Dream!.
