A Boutique Hotel Opening Spring 2016 in the Heart of the Historic Center

Sevilla, Spain - November 16, 2015 …Mercer Hoteles is proud to announce the opening of the luxurious boutique hotel Mercer Sevilla in Spring of 2016. Set in the heart of the historic center of Sevilla at 26, Calle Castellar near the Plaza Nueva, Bullring La Maestranza, Molviedro Square and Theatre La Maestranza. “Sevilla has a long and rich history and the city’s architecture is a reflection of that past. With a reputation for integrating the old and new, the best architects for the project were chosen: the prestigious firm of Cruz y Ortiz Arquitectos,” says Mr. Pedro Molina, owner.  The property, Casa Palacio Castelar, has been chosen because of its prime location in the city and the ability to create a beautiful small luxury hotel from the existing building.
Guests seeking an exclusive and unique experience can immerse themselves in a distinctive setting.  Like a jewel box, the Mercer Sevilla is comprised of 12 luxurious rooms and suites and includes two courtyards allowing more light and air to filter into the restaurant.   Guests will find an elegant ambiance, an upscale restaurant for 20 guests, along with a lively bar and lounge.  In addition, the rooftop terrace of the hotel will double as a place for sunbathing and allow for a dip into the swimming pool in fine weather.  The bar provides inimitable views over the city, refreshing beverages and serves as an ideal backdrop for a starlit evening glass of sherry.
