Wind River Country, Wyoming – There are exciting equestrian events for horse lovers of every age all around Fremont County this fall. Here you’ll find several kinds of authentic western rodeos and a pee-wee miniature bullriding rodeo final, a cowboy festival, a wild horse adoption auction, and some good old fashion chariot horse races from yesteryear. AUGUST
Aug. 21 Dubois Friday Night Rodeo at arena just south of town, 5649 Hwy. 287/26. Favorite family friendly event for all ages. Sept. 11-12 Riverton Fall Wild Horse & Burro Adoption – come see wild mustang horses in training. Sept. 11 clinic 1-3:30 pm to preview horses. Sept. 12, previewing 7:30 am and bidding at 10:30am.
