SINGAPORE - Media OutReach - March 15, 2016 - Leader in print and enterprise content management Konica Minolta Business Solutions Asia (BSA) has launched the bizhub 367 series in Singapore. A monochrome multi-function printer (MFP), the bizhub 367 series is a flexible office companion that delivers a mobile, secure, and seamless printing experience.
"From mobile printing features, to information-sharing and document management through Cloud services, business users can expect an all-in-one printing experience with the bizhub 367 series", said Jonathan Yeo, General Manager for Konica Minolta BSA. "In addition, it is packed with the latest security technologies such as biometric authentication to safeguard the information assets of companies."
Instant print jobs from your mobile device
With Singapore having some of the world's highest smartphone usage rates[1], there are more office workers who work on-the-go and want the convenience of printing documents straight from their smart devices. The bizhub 367 series sports a Mobile Touch Area on its operation panel that supports Near Field Communication (NFC), BlueTooth, and standard mobile print technologies.
Users simply need to install the PageScope Mobile app or Konica Minolta Print Service app available on Google Play and the Apple app store to perform print and scan jobs directly from their smart devices.
All-in-one design-centric solution
Fashioned to be the centrepiece of office design, the bizhub 367 series combines several features to provide a seamless printing experience. They include:
- User-friendliness: Equipped with an intuitive and user-friendly seven-inch control panel, users can register up to nine commonly used functions such as copy or scan/fax.
- Finishing options: The bizhub 367 series supports a wide range of finishers for various types of output, such as stapling, binding (booklet) and folding.
Enhancing print security with the latest technology
Unattended print output or document misplacement contributes to information leaks in many offices. From password-protection to additional optional security mechanisms, print functions can be authenticated biometrically, with various types of identification cards, or via NFC with Android devices.
The bizhub 367 series' main controller conforms to IEEE standard 2600.1 -- 2009[2] and it is equipped with TPM[3] (Trusted Platform Module) to protect confidential information.
