STOCKHOLM - hasan & partners Group has appointed Jonas Bäckström as Managing Director to lead hasan & partners Stockholm. Backstrom was most recently Chief Digital Officer at OmnicomMediaGroup Sweden, where he primarily led McDonald's digital and mobile strategy.
Prior to OMG he was global digital and PR director at Pernod Ricard, where he ran the global digital business for The Absolut Company.
Backstrom has worked in marketing and advertising since 1998 when he joined Leo Burnett following a stint as an officer in Sweden’s Royal Navy. After couple of years at Leo Burnett he moved to Paradiset DDB, then Lowe Brindfors, before joining Farfar for three years.
hasan & partners Stockholm opened its doors in May 2014 and now has nine staff running full-service accounts for brands including cruise operators Tallink and Silja Line, and Visit Estonia.
