香港，中国 - Media OutReach - 2017 年 7 月 13 日 - 持续腰酸骨痛、痛楚难耐?慎防多发性骨髓瘤侵袭! 多发性骨髓瘤(Multiple Myeloma)是一种因浆细胞在骨髓内不受控制地生长引起的常见血液癌症。据统计，每年香港约有 232 宗新症，较 7 年前上升近 3 成，当中近 4 成是 65 岁以下，有年轻化趋势。香港血液及血液肿瘤科专科廖崇瑜医生表示，患者会伴有持续骨痛、高血钙症、肾脏损害及骨折等症状，却往往不察觉严重性而延误诊断，部分人甚至出现下肢无力、无感觉及大小便失禁才发现患病。这种病复发率高，传统药物疗效又有限，令患者可能无法进行干细胞移植治疗。

今年初，香港引入了新药「卡非佐米」(Carfilzomib)，这种药适用于治疗复发性多发性骨髓瘤。廖崇瑜医生称，临床研究结果显示，病人接受加入新药治疗方案后，病情得到完全缓解、即近乎测不到癌细胞的比率显著提高近 3 成，无恶化存活期更可延长多近 9 个月。

 

52 岁的张先生，一向健康状态良好，四年前，他却发觉自己经常感到疲倦乏力，原本踼球很棒、常赢球的他，在球场表现也变差，更经常输球。经过检查，才发现自己患有贫血，之后他更出现持续骨痛和体重下降的症状，最后被确诊为多发性骨髓瘤。随后，他接受了标靶治疗，接着又做完高剂量化疗后，再进行自体干细胞移植，经过一连串的冶疗后，病情曾一度受控，但去年，又检查到副蛋白水平有逐渐回升的迹象，并再次出现骨痛等症状。所幸接受新药"卡非佐米"治疗后，病情再次受控，并可以准备进行第二次自体干细胞移植。
