Lawrence-based Mass Street Soda Co. expanding to Legends Outlets Kansas City this summer with KC Soda Co.

Independent concept features 1,300 premium craft sodas, ice cream soda fountains and sodas on tap with plans to launch locally brewed and branded KC Soda

KANSAS CITY, KAN. (May 1, 2015) – This summer, the wildly popular, Lawrence-based Mass Street Soda Co. will open a second location as the KC Soda Co. at Legends Outlets Kansas City, featuring more than 1,300 premium craft sodas from independent brewers across the nation and worldwide. KC Soda Co. at Legends Outlets will feature craft sodas on tap.

Owners and founders, Matt Baysinger and Lucas Thompson, are brewing up plans to launch Kansas City’s first premium craft soda brand in tandem with the opening, branded as KC Soda. The first three locally brewed KC Soda flavors planned are cream soda, a root beer with a special kick (perhaps cinnamon), and a peach soda using peaches from Kansas and Missouri.
