FAMILY-FRIENDLY NIGHTTIME ACTIVITIES TO BE FEATURED FRIDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHTS THROUGHOUT THE SUMMER

(Las Vegas) – Wet‘n’Wild Las Vegas today announced two evening activity series to be featured on Friday and Saturday nights through the summer. The “Dive-In Movies” series will feature family-friendly films to be screened from the Red Rock Bay wave pool. The series will run every Friday night at 8 p.m., beginning June 5 through Aug. 21. Every featured film is family-friendly and rated G or PG.

The second series, “Saturday Sessions” is aimed at tweens, teens and adults and will feature performances by young, local DJs like DJ treL, giveaways and a transformed wave pool area draped with neon glowing lights. These events will take place from 8 to 10 p.m. through June and July.

“It’s a completely different park after dark,” said Takuya Ohki, general manager of Wet‘n’Wild Las Vegas. “Events like this are why Wet‘n’Wild is Las Vegas’ summer playground. No other water park in Nevada is offering these great wholesome community events where upcoming local artists can gain more experience, and teens have a safe and hip summer activity to participate in. We are very proud to provide this kind of safe and fun environment for families to create lasting memories together.”

“Dive-In Movies” and “Saturday Sessions” are just two of the series that will be featured at Wet’n’Wild this season. The park will also host holiday barbecues, scavenger hunts and a variety of concerts throughout the summer.

“We have so much going on that the best way to take advantage of all the park has to offer is by purchasing a Season Pass,” Ohki said. “Right now, passes are on sale for as low as $64.99 each which includes unlimited admission all summer and great benefits.”
