Be artistic. Be original. Be a part of Ballet Wyoming!
Monday, April 27th- Ballet Wyoming will be hosting the next season of the company's productions this Friday, May 1st and Saturday, May 2nd. The auditions are for a part in Cinderella, a full length ballet taking place at the Cheyenne Civic Center in 2016. Ages 7 to 12 years will audition on Friday from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and ages 13 to adult will audition from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Then Saturday, ages 7 to 12 years will audition from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 13 to adult will audition from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Auditions will be held at the Ballet Wyoming Studio at 325 W. 18th in Downtown Cheyenne. 
There will be a quick group warm up to begin the auditioning process. Then Kathy Vreeland, Director of Ballet Wyoming will show combinations for those auditioning.  Ballet Wyoming requests that those who are auditioning bring pointe shoes if they have them. The auditioning processes is very quick and is very fun. All dancers will be requested to fill out a form which will help organize availability for rehearsals for Cinderella. The rehearsals for the production will not begin until late summer to early fall. 
Are you a dancer but not in the Cheyenne area? Still audition! Kathy Vreeland is focused on bringing talent to the stage and is more than happy to work with you and your unique schedule. Ballet Wyoming is a statewide premier dancer company and is willing to work with all who have the passion and drive for dance.
What do I wear to auditions? Please wear a leotard and tights. Ballet Wyoming prefers if you do not wear shorts.
